Mr. Ledoux has over 30 years of transportation logistics experience. During his 18- year career with Federal Express, he was employed in various positions with the company including operations, sales, public relations, and government affairs. He was the head of their state government affairs in the Midwest before being promoted to Washington, DC to handle federal issues for the company. During his career with Federal Express, Mr. Ledoux was involved in all transportation matters relating to the company’s operations including ground and air transportation policies impacted by Congress and various agencies including the Department of Transportation, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the Federal Highway Administration.

Mr. Ledoux retired from Federal Express to join the government relations’ team at Norfolk Southern. As Vice President of Government Relations for Norfolk Southern Corporation, he was responsible for all State and Federal Government Relations and Public Private Partnerships. He was also responsible for the administration of the company’s political action committee (PAC) which experienced growth every year under his leadership. During his leadership role at Norfolk Southern, Mr. Ledoux worked extensively with Congress and the various administrative agencies that regulated the transportation industry including the Surface Transportation Board, the Federal Railroad Administration and the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration. Mr. Ledoux was recognized by the company for developing many successful legislative initiatives that benefited the company and their operations over his time with Norfolk Southern.

As a recognized leader in the transportation industry, Mr. Ledoux is frequently asked to speak to audiences about the state of the industry including being a guest lecturer at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. Upon his retirement in 2021, Mr. Ledoux ended a distinguished career in the transportation and logistics industry.

Mr. Ledoux brings his vast experience in transportation logistics that includes both surface and air and those industries served by this sector to the Thomas Advisors team. His addition greatly enhances the firm’s overall experience and knowledge in the transportation industry. Mr. Ledoux resides in Northern Virginia with his wife where he is an active member of his community serving on various community boards.
