JONATHAN FRAPPIER

Mr. Frappier works with private equity funds, established companies and startups on a broad spectrum of fundraising, operational and business matters, including entry into foreign markets (North American, European, and West African), as well as assisting with planning and implementing alternative fundraising and business development strategies.  He represents clients in the fields of Asset Management, Fintech, Mobile Technology, Manufacturing, Green Energy and Security.

 

Mr. Frappier started his career as an attorney in New York City for O’Melveny & Myers LLP, a prominent international law firm, where he specialized in Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Finance for public and private companies and private equity funds.  He acquired knowledge and experience in deal negotiation, strategic business planning, evaluation of investment opportunities, business formation, drafting contracts and due diligence.  

 

Prior to working with O’Melveny & Myers, Mr. Frappier worked as a consultant for Canada-based manufacturer Clôtures OASIS and as an associate at HSS Ventures, a venture capital fund in New York City.

 

Mr. Frappier has worked and studied in France, Italy, Canada and the United States.  He has travelled extensively throughout the world in both professional and personal capacities, enabling him to cultivate a robust international network of trusted business contacts in all sectors.   

 

He holds a B.A. (magna cum laude) in Philosophy from the Pontificia Università della Santa Croce, a B.A. (First Class Honors) in History from St. Francis Xavier University and a J.D.  (cum laude) from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif.  Mr. Frappier is licensed to practice law in New York and is fluent in English, French and Italian.
